Calling all scientists, future engineers, artists, tech whizzes, and mathematicians!
Join us for STEAM Club. This program is geared for ages 8 and up. Younger children may attend (email firstname.lastname@example.org to ensure the program is appropriate for your child under age 8.) All supplies are provided at no cost; however, donations are accepted at the desk. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Earmark each first Thursday for STEAM-centered fun! Each month’s activity will be inspired by STEAM skills: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Each participant will practice the actions for success: listen, observe, try, fail, learn, and try again. We encourage questioning, critical thinking, measurement, and giving evidence.
What went well? Why? What didn’t go the way you planned? What changes can you make? How can you improve your results? The fun is in the details. Past programs have included: catapults, air-propelled rockets, experiencing local wildlife and habitats, and chain reactions. Hop on board…full STEAM ahead!
