Owego Historical District Architecture Adventure Backpack
In collaboration with the Tioga County Historical Society the Coburn Free Library proudly presents the Owego Historical District Architecture Adventure Backpacks!
Four back packs each containing, a map, house I.D. cards, a kid’s architecture books and art supplies will be available to checkout to take patrons on a scavenger hunt for historical architecture in the village of Owego’s historical district. These backpacks will teach patrons all about t the history of American architecture and the history of some of Owego’s oldest homes. Backpacks will be available to check out July 8th 2025.

Evergreen Cemetery Kids Adventure Backpacks are Back!
In collaboration with the Friends of the Evergreen Cemetery the Coburn Free Library the Evergreen Cemetery Kids Adventure Backpacks are back this summer!
Four backpacks each containing a map, grave I.D. cards, a compass, How to Use a Compass For Kid’s (and Adults Too!) by Henry D. Bridges, and binoculars will be available to check out. This local adventure will take patrons on a scavenger hunt for the graves of the notable men and women in Owego’s rich history.
