Library Services

Isn’t a library just a stuffy old building with books?  No way!  Coburn Free Library is a community hub that offers resources for those aged 0-99+.

Do you need something to do?  Do you want to meet people with similar interests?  We have exciting and engaging programs for babies and toddlers like Story Time.  This is also a great time for moms to visit with other moms while the kids play.  For older kids, we have painting programs, game nights, craft club, and Lego Clubs for beginners or advanced builders, .  Adults can get in on the fun too with chess night, Coburn Academy, or book club.

Are you curious about your family tree?  Want to see if any of your relatives are famous?  We have genealogy resources where you can trace back your family for generations.  Maybe there is a U.S. President or a famous movie star in your lineage.  You will never know until you look!

Need help with your homework?  Please don’t just “google” it.  The library offers academic, peer-reviewed databases so you know the answers you find are from credible sources.

Coburn Free Library offers these and so much more.  For more information see the tabs for programs, genealogy, and databases.  We also have information on our events calendar.  Like us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/coburnlibrary.
