The elevator is in!  Our annex, elevator, entrance and restroom have been completed and we are so pleased to have a library that is accessible for everyone.  Many more physical improvements were made to our library this year including new flooring, an up-to-code kitchenette, parking lot lighting and paint and repair of many windows and more.  There has been a lot going on!  And did we tell you the elevator is in!

The pandemic continues to plague our county and the library will continue to follow the protocols required by New York State.  We are grateful to all our patrons for their understanding and forbearance with “mask-on” and “mask-off”.   Through construction dust, face masks and boiler issues, the library staff has continued to serve our community.  The Board of Trustees say thank you.

As we begin our budgeting process for next year, we want you to know that we thank you as well for your financial support – past, present and future.  The fall fundraiser line item in our budget each year is important and necessary for the continued success of our library and staff.  We hope you will consider a year-end gift to the Coburn Free Library!

Please make checks for this year’s fund drive payable to the Coburn Free Library.  They can be mailed in (275 Main Street, Owego, NY 13827) or dropped off at the front desk.  As always, all contributions are tax deductible as provided by law.   We thank you in advance for your support.
