Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Coburn Free Library May 20, 2026

Present: L. Williams, President, J. Pritchard, Vice-President, E. Keough, Secretary,
M. Worzel, Executive Director

Excused: M. Fenn, Treasurer, C. Freitag, Trustee, D. Woodburn, Trustee, J. Palladino, OACSD Trustee

Approval of April Minutes: Minutes reviewed but not approved as we did not have quorum.

Financial Report: Account balances have been reconciled to statements for April. Balances as of 4/30/2026:
Director Discretionary Fund $ 4,712.61
Regular Checking $ 201,541.50
Endowment Fund $ 997,888.24
HVAC Checking Acct $ 269,587.90

Ninety percent of the NYS Construction grant was received.

Director Report: Construction for the HVAC system is wrapping up. All parts are in and functioning. Summer Reading Programs are scheduled. The amendment to scope for our library project was approved.

Old Business: No update on HVAC Project Fundraising.

New Business: The Annual report to the Community looks good. will need to have a motion at the next meeting. Old window air conditioner disposal was discussed.
