May 2026 Director’s Report
Grant Updates: 2025 Library Grant Final Report was submitted. We received the Out Reach Mini Grant, $300 and the second half of the Fannie Hyde Grant, $20,000. We also received the check for the NYS Construction Grant. I am currently working on the Senior Citizen Foundations grant through Community Foundation of South-Central New York. I am also working on the final report for the Mildred Faulkner Truman Foundation, this is due in late June.
Building: Construction is wrapping up; all parts are in and functioning. The week of 5/11 they were testing the units. Waiting to receive all the owner’s manuals as of 5/14/26.
Programs: I have all of Summer Reading scheduled, and just a few more things to plan out. I’m working on starting to order supplies. We have 15 kid’s programs and 7 adult programs.
Miscellaneous: We hosted the Tioga Directors Meeting on 5/8/26.
