Friday July 17 at 10am. The OSFL Brass Quintet features Lindsey and Larry Burroughs on trumpet, horn player Claire McKenney, trombonist Sarahjane Harrigan and Keith Alcius on tuba. The story with music they’ll be sharing with you is “Barb the Band Bat” with music and text by Dr. Daniel N. Thrower. It tells the true story of a librarian who is surprised to encounter an actual bat perched on the music folders in the historic building that houses the library. This, along with a spirited Sousa March, a Beatles tune, and other lively arrangements, will make for a fun time for the whole family!
