April Events
It’s time to celebrate the library! Library Appreciation Week is April 23-29.
Take this opportunity to spring on over to the library! There are plenty of events to choose from.
Don’t miss the last library meeting of the Owego Craft Circle on April 1st. After that, they’ll meet at the new yarn shop (just down the road from the library). This month at Paint and Learn, we will celebrate spring with bunnies and flowers. For Lego Clubs, we are also “thinking spring” with animal prints and flower creations. For Toddler Storytime, we will continue our early literacy learning with letters “R, S, T” and a special spring storytime. Mystery Book Club will discuss selections by mystery writer Sally Goldenbaum. For Tween Game Night, we have some updated rules and lots of board games to enjoy. Coburn Academy will host Rev. Dr. Cynthia Huling-Hummel presenting From Why Me to What’s Next: My Journey with Alzheimer’s Disease on April 11th and the Friends of the Coburn Free Library presenting A Best Reads Extravaganza on April 25th. Both presentations begin at 5:30pm.
Let’s gather together, share our love of books and learning, spark some excitement, and make memories.
