DESCRIPTION:Tuesday July 22nd\, 2025 at 5:30pm \nThe OSFL Brass Quintet features Lindsey and Larry Burroughs on trumpet\, horn player Claire McKenney\, principal trombonist Duane Smith and Keith Alcius on tuba. The brass quintet is excited to present Anthony Plog’s Animal Ditties\, featuring the silly nonsense poems of Ogden Nash! A few examples of the “Ditties” include: “The Duck”; “The Praying Mantis”; “The Cow”; and others. Accompanied by other lively arrangements\, this program will make for a fun time for the whole family!

DESCRIPTION:Wednesday July 23rd\, 2025 at 10am. Four animal ambassadors from Tanglewood Nature preserve and Museum will help us read Vincent Paints his House by Tedd Arnold. They will also help us learn how animals use colors to help them in nature and even how animals can see colors differently! Registration is not required. This program will be held in the Methodist church basement right next door to the library.

In all that they do\, the trio explores spoken word performance and embraces the notion that music speaks. This summer’s headlining story with music is that of Little Red Riding Hood\, set to music by Gwyneth Walker in her work “An Adventure at Grannie’s”. Storied Winds is sure to please the entire family with their lively array of programming and props!
