SUMMARY:Story Hour
DESCRIPTION:On Wednesdays at 10:15 AM we share our favorite picture books with children ages birth to 5 and their parents or caregivers. Don’t be surprised to learn a few finger plays and active nursery rhymes.  Our story times are built around books and engaging readings but also include movement\, song\, literacy skills\, and play.

SUMMARY:Chess Club
DESCRIPTION:AGES TEEN AND ABOVE \nIt’s your move!  Want to increase your memory and concentration or practice logical thinking skills?  Develop your existing chess skills against other players in a friendly environment.  Players of all abilities are welcome.  If you have a chess board\, bring it along.  We’ll have a few but it’s better to have too many than too few!  Library materials are available for further learning. \nThere will also be a chess set available in the gaming closet for in-library use at any time.  That means you can practice anytime at the library. \nChess club is a recurring event that takes place on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 5:30pm. We meet on the 2nd floor in the Eva Thomas room.  Elevator access is available at the rear library entrance. \nRegistration is encouraged and appreciated.

SUMMARY:Babies at Play
DESCRIPTION:Babies at Play is a playgroup where kids 0-4 have a space to play and socialize with their peers. Parents and guardians can also swap parenting tips or simply chat\, while the kids have fun and play. We provide the toys and the fun\, so all you need to do is come!
