More information about this grants program\, including eligibility and deadlines\, is available at www.eARTS.org/grants. \nOn Monday\, November 17 from 2-4pm\, stop by the Coburn Free Library to meet Nate Weisenberg\, The ARTS Council’s new Grants Coordinator. These will be informal conversations – no need to make an appointment. You can be at any stage in the process\, from just getting started to having a draft you want feedback on. \nWe look forward to seeing you! \nThis project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program (SCR)\, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes.

DESCRIPTION:AGES TEEN AND ABOVE \nIt’s your move!  Want to increase your memory and concentration or practice logical thinking skills?  Develop your existing chess skills against other players in a friendly environment.  Players of all abilities are welcome.  If you have a chess board\, bring it along.  We’ll have a few but it’s better to have too many than too few!  Library materials are available for further learning. \nThere will also be a chess set available in the gaming closet for in-library use at any time.  That means you can practice anytime at the library. \nChess club is a recurring event that takes place on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 5:30pm. We meet on the 2nd floor in the Eva Thomas room.  Elevator access is available at the rear library entrance. \nRegistration is encouraged and appreciated.

DESCRIPTION:AGES TEEN AND ABOVE \nIt’s your move!  Want to increase your memory and concentration or practice logical thinking skills?  Develop your existing chess skills against other players in a friendly environment.  Players of all abilities are welcome.  If you have a chess board\, bring it along.  We’ll have a few but it’s better to have too many than too few!  Library materials are available for further learning. \nThere will also be a chess set available in the gaming closet for in-library use at any time.  That means you can practice anytime at the library. \nChess club is a recurring event that takes place on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 5:30pm. We meet on the 2nd floor in the Eva Thomas room.  Elevator access is available at the rear library entrance. \nRegistration is encouraged and appreciated.

SUMMARY:Littles Lego Club
DESCRIPTION:On the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm\, our little Lego builders make beginner’s level creations.  You provide the imagination\, we provide the blocks! Designed for ages 4 and up.  Younger children have the option to use Duplo blocks.  All children must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
