Spread Cheer This Year Card-Making Program

November 16, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm

The Coburn Free Library is hosting a card-making community service project on November 16 at 6pm.  This project is in support of the Tioga Arts Council’s “Spread Cheer This Year” holiday card program.  This collaborative effort wishes to help spread holiday cheer this year by making 300 handmade cards and delivering them to Riverview Manor Health Care and Elderwood at Waverly. To do this, we need your help!

If you or your family want to participate:

  • Join us at the library on November 16 at 6pm where all card making materials will be provided!
    • Draw a winter scene (or what inspires you) on a piece of construction paper
    • On the inside, write “Happy Holidays” or “Seasons Greetings”
    • Sign your First Name only

If you are not able to attend the program, materials are available at the tables in the library to make a card during your next visit.  Cards will be delivered to the Tioga Arts Council on the week of November 16.

No matter your creed, we invite everyone to express their creativity –

be it making an ornament, card, or both – in this year’s season of giving and light.
