Pinwheels for Prevention
April 19 @ 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm
Stop by the library on Tuesday, April 19th at 6 pm to learn how to make your own pinwheel.
Pinwheels, representing innocence, are the national symbol for child abuse prevention. They are a positive emblem of the effect we can have when we work together to prevent child abuse. Adding a pinwheel to our gardens or homes is a visual reminder of our desire for happy, healthy childhoods for the youth in our area.
Join the movement with a free and FUN make and take craft.
All supplies are provided. We ask that participants be six years or older as the craft involves the use of a pushpin.
We are thankful for this collaborative program presented by the Tioga County Child Advocacy Center. It is made possible by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services, Tioga County Department of Social Services, and A New Hope Center.
