Music in the library: Violin Recital

January 29 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Local Suzuki violin teacher Iryna Juravich will be presenting her students for a recital at the Coburn Free Library on Main Street, Owego.  The recital will take place on January 29 from 1-3pm.

Ms. Juravich is a member of the Suzuki Association of America (SAA) and the Southern Tier Music Teachers Association.  She was born and raised in the Ukraine where she graduated from music school in 1985.  She is very passionate about music and her work as a Suzuki violin teacher.

The students range in age from five to thirteen.  Some are beginners; others have advanced to intermediate.  The Suzuki method is a special and unique way of teaching violin, and is taught the world over.  Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to hear live music played by local violinists!

“We are thrilled to present Ms. Juravich and her students music to the community.   We love supporting local youth and encouraging a lifelong dedication to learning and growth!” enthused Meredith Gallaro, the library’s executive director.
