Join us each 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 5:30pm for the Coburn Academy.  In this educational group, area adults meet to learn from local presenters, TED-Talk Style.  We discuss local, regional, and universal topics covering all fields of study! It’s our pleasure to bring the community together to learn, grow, and reconnect.

May 9 – “Hospitals and Maternity Homes in Owego”  presented by Emma Sedore 

Emma Sedore has been the Tioga County Historian since 2001, has had the privilege of meeting interesting people, written three books, given dozens of talks and researched countless subjects. Her current talk about Hospitals and Maternity Homes is a serious, but engrossing one and definitely has a place in our history.
